The past weeks brought us great delight as we were honoured with awards in recognition of the work in clean energy and sustainable waste management.
Our Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman Dr Dilesh Nguwaya also received awards in recognition of the innovative ways of transforming the former dumpsite into an enviable waste-to-energy plant.
We shinned at the Zimbabwe National ESG & CSR Achievement Awards 2024 where we were honoured with a Clean Energy Champion Award and the Waste Management & Innovator of the Year Award.
Dr Nguwaya won the CEO of the Year – Energy Award at the CEO Africa Roundtable Awards.
He is a true visionary leading the way in sustainable waste management and energy solutions.
Dr Nguwaya expressed gratitude for the recognition.
He said the company was committed to corporate social responsibility and innovative ways of managing waste.
“This award signifies the work ahead in fast-tracking our deliverables following our takeover of refuse collection in Harare and Mbare CBD,” said Dr Nguwaya.
These awards reflect the dedication of our team and partners in driving sustainable waste management and clean energy solutions. Together, we can make a lasting impact!
Last year, we also bagged some awards including the Environmental Impact Project of the Year (Waste Management), Project Team of the Year while Dr Nguwaya won the Focused CEO of the Year.
