We recently started door-to-door waste collection in Harare following a tripartite agreement between Geo Pomona Waste Management Pvt Ltd, City of Harare and the Local Government and Public Works Ministry.
The President, His Excellency Cde Dr E.D Mnangagwa commissioned 45 refuse collection trucks, which are now busy collecting waste in residential areas and in the Harare Central Business District (CBD).
As we work to expand our refuse collection fleet, we are learning from the best and sourcing world-class equipment to boost efficiency in Zimbabwe.
More refuse collection trucks are on the way, and we’re excited to serve our communities better.
Harare residents are for the first time in many years witnessing proper service delivery as our teams are collecting refuse every week as per our schedules.
There were many illegal dumpsites in the capital, most of which we have already cleared them to ensure a clean environment.
