Under our partnership with the City of Harare, we have now taken over street sweeping operations across the city, starting the beginning of this week.
Most of the street sweepers were seconded from the City of Harare, while others are new recruits.
The street sweeping operations started on Monday. Street sweepers have been deployed across various parts of the city to help keep Harare clean and litter-free.
To support this new initiative, we also procured 300 push carts dedicated to street sweeping activities.
We’re excited about this new chapter and look forward to seeing a cleaner Harare!
This comes as we have cleared illegal dumpsites and have been busy with door-to-door refuse collection.
