Geo Pomona Waste Management Private Limited Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Chairman Mr Dilesh Nguwaya has set the tone for 2024, saying the company staff and management should continue working hard, maintain good planning, and always be diligent.
In his opening remarks at the 2024 Planning Session in Harare on 24 January, Mr Nguwaya said Year 3 of the project will start on 28 April, 2024 and urged workers to bring on board ideas that will make the project a success.
“On the 28th of April 2024, we will be starting Year 3 of the project. I urge all of us to continue working hard and bring ideas to make this project successful. We have a standard of excellence and need to maintain it. All the above results from good planning, hard work, teamwork, and diligence. Hence the session we are having today so that we plan for the year ahead and in turn years to come,” he said.
Mr Nguwaya thanked the team for a job well done for the year 2023 in attaining the vision of the company of being Southern Africa’s first, best and most efficient Waste Management and Power Generation project, setting the standard for Private/Public partnerships in the provision of a better and more sustainable life for all citizens.
