We are delighted to be participating at this year’s 65th edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair in Bulawayo where we are sharing important information about waste management.

Those willing to interact with us can visit our stand in Hall 4.

This is our second time exhibiting at the ZITF as we made our debut participation in 2024.

We are sharing how to protect the environment through use of eco-friendly brichures which have gone digital.

Its interesting to note that our team is using reusable branded bottles, eliminating single use plastics.

Also, our stand is furnished with tables and chairs made from recycled materials.

Feel free to come through and learn more about the work that we are doing in waste management and sustainability.

This comes after we have tremendously transformed the once-smelly Pomona dumpsite into a modern waste management facility.

After many years of poor solid waste management by the local authority, we have introduced the first-of-its-kind way of processing waste to energy.

Our plant will produce 22 megawatts of electricity upon completion.

Meanwhile, as part of transforming the dumpsite in Harare, we have constructed state-of-the-art sports facilities, including a FIFA-certified soccer field, and basketball and tennis courts.

Modern restaurants will also be opened at the Geo Pomona site.

All these facilities will be accessible to the public as our generous way of giving back towards community development.

However, the ongoing ZITF has provided a launchpad for innovative businesses such as Geo Pomona Waste Management Pvt Ltd.
