We had quite an eventful visit to Belarus where our team, led by Dr Dilesh Nguwaya, engaged various key stakeholders to explore investment and development opportunities in waste management equipment and technologies.
Minister of Finance and Investment Promotion, Professor Mthuli Ncube, together with our team made great strides in fostering collaboration.

- Minsk Tractor Works:
The team toured the Minsk Tractor Works, showcasing Belarus’ industrial capabilities and innovative manufacturing practices. - Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus: A pivotal meeting was held with Mr. Siarhei Staliarchuk, Chairman of the Management Board, to discuss funding models and investment opportunities.

Objectives:
- Explore potential partnerships and collaborations
- Discuss funding options and investment models
- Strengthen economic ties between Zimbabwe and Belarus
Outcomes:
The meetings have laid the groundwork for potential partnerships, with both parties expressing interest in further discussions. The Geo Pomona team is optimistic about the prospects of collaboration, leveraging Belarus’ expertise and Zimbabwe’s growth potential.
