Angola has expressed strong interest in tapping into our expertise in waste management to help ensure cleaner, healthier cities within the SADC region.

This followed a tour of our waste management facility in Harare, where the Angolan Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Baltazar Diogo Cristovão, was hosted by our Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dr Dilesh Nguwaya.

Speaking after the tour, Ambassador Cristovão described our company as a major force in the waste management industry and highlighted Angola’s desire to learn from the progress made in Zimbabwe.

“This company is a giant that has come to fight for the well-being of communities and to see cities clean. It is a good initiative for the people of Zimbabwe. In Angola, we also face challenges with waste management, and we would like to draw on this experience to build healthier and cleaner cities. A clean city means a healthy population,” he said.

The Ambassador further called on African countries to unite in supporting projects such as ours, noting their importance to public health and sustainable development across the continent.

“All this is for the benefit of the people. I leave here with a very positive impression of the work being done. We should be united to extend these benefits beyond Zimbabwe to Africa as a whole. A healthy population is essential for any nation, and initiatives like this play a critical role,” he added.

Dr Dilesh Nguwaya said the continued interest and endorsement from other countries serves as strong motivation to keep scaling our impact.

“It is very encouraging to see other countries visiting and learning from the work we have done and continue to do. This is not only significant for our company, but also for Zimbabwe, as it demonstrates leadership in modern waste management on the African continent,” he said.
