Our delegation led by Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman Dr Dilesh Nguwaya, is on a working visit to Ecosteryl Environmental Solutions in Mons, Belgium, as the company strengthens its exposure to global best practices in waste management.

The delegation, accompanied by Mrs Angelica Katuruza, Zimbabwe’s Deputy Ambassador to the Mission in Belgium, held high-level engagements with Ecosteryl Environmental Solutions, a global leader in the manufacture of medical waste treatment and disposal equipment.

The programme included a guided tour of Ecosteryl’s equipment assembly facility, where the team was briefed on advanced technologies used in the safe and environmentally responsible handling of medical waste.

The visit forms part of the company’s ongoing efforts to benchmark international standards and explore innovative solutions that can strengthen waste management systems in Zimbabwe.

On the sidelines of the visit, the Geo Pomona delegation also paid a courtesy call on the Mayor of the City of Mons, Nicolas Martin, with discussions centred on environmental sustainability, urban waste solutions, and opportunities for knowledge exchange between municipalities and private sector operators.

This engagement underscores its commitment to continuous learning, technology-driven solutions, and collaboration with global industry leaders in advancing modern waste management practices.
