Waste Management as a model for sustainable waste management across the continent following a benchmarking tour in Harare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The visit brought together representatives from Morocco, Malawi, Namibia and South Africa, who toured the waste-to-energy facility as part of regional municipal engagements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" challenges through innovation, investment and strong public-private partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the tour, officials were taken through the facility\u2019s engineered landfill systems, environmental protection measures and waste-to-energy processes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members of the delegation praised the technology being deployed, noting it ranks among the most advanced on the sustainable, environmentally responsible solutions are achievable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They emphasized the need for African municipalities to collaborate, tailor and replicate similar models in their respective countries to modernise urban waste systems and improve environmental standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The benchmarking tour positions Geo Pomona as a growing continental reference point in integrated waste management, with visiting municipalities expressing interest in adapting the model to suit local conditions across
