{"id":3114,"date":"2025-02-12T15:30:04","date_gmt":"2025-02-12T13:30:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geopomona.co.zw\/?p=3114"},"modified":"2025-02-12T15:30:04","modified_gmt":"2025-02-12T13:30:04","slug":"we-have-confidence-in-geo-pomona-joc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/geopomona.co.zw\/?p=3114","title":{"rendered":"We have confidence in Geo Pomona:\u00a0JOC"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The&nbsp;Joint Operations Command (JOC) has&nbsp;expressed confidence in our capacity to solve Harare\u2019s waste management problems and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;a clean environment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JOC\u00a0Harare\u00a0chairman Brigadier-General Fidelis Mhonda\u00a0said this during a tour of our facilities in Pomona on Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said JOC was prepared to work with our company to tackle waste management issues in the capital.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/geopomona.co.zw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-02-11-at-17.35.46-1024x682.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3116\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Brig-General Mhonda said:&nbsp;\u201cAs JOC Harare, this is our area of responsibility.&nbsp;We came here&nbsp;to&nbsp;witness this project, which is very important as it serves the whole of Harare. We need a clean Harare to avoid diseases.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He\u00a0indicated\u00a0that we were properly\u00a0equipped to\u00a0deal with Harare\u2019s\u00a0waste management\u00a0problems.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Zimbabwe, as an agro-industrial economy, needs reliable electricity. Load-shedding affects industries and agriculture, but this facility will help bridge that gap, ensuring businesses operate smoothly,&#8221;&nbsp;said Brig-General Mhonda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/geopomona.co.zw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-02-11-at-17.35.50-1024x682.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3117\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Executive&nbsp;Chairperson&nbsp;and Chief Executive Officer&nbsp;Dr Dilesh Nguwaya&nbsp;gave an update about the works at the site.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Nguwaya said the&nbsp;sorting plant&nbsp;was expected to be&nbsp;finished by the end of this month.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He noted:&nbsp;\u201cWe started installing the sorting plant on January 1.
