This week marks a landmark development on our site as we are busy with the on-site assembling of the Sorting Plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A team of technicians from Disan Turkey, together with our engineers are installing the new equipment for the Sorting Plant, signifying a great stride in the implementation of the first of its kind waste management system in Southern Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This cutting-edge facility will make waste separation more efficient and effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week, the team is hard at work assembling the sorting conveyors, and we we will share more progress soon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are rapidly moving to transform waste management in Zimbabwe and SADC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With all equipment now on site, the Sorting Plant is a crucial step in adhering to the principles of waste management hierarchy and our commitment to the \u201cZero-Waste to Landfill\u201d policy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This facility will employ a comprehensive selection process for incoming waste, aligning with global waste management directives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our sorting plant is designed to separate bulky materials and recyclable fractions from the incoming waste stream. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s imperative to adhere to this hierarchy as we aim to avoid incinerating recyclable materials, which is not considered best practice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, the plant will strategically select and generate waste with optimum calorific power for our Waste to Energy Plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
