Welcome to the first edition of the Geo Pomona Waste\u00a0 Management Newsletter! This platform is designed to keep\u00a0you informed about our progress, milestones, and vision\u00a0as we work towards transforming waste management in\u00a0Zimbabwe and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The year 2024 has been a remarkable journey for our\u00a0company. Many of you have supported and witnessed our\u00a0efforts, but we want to use this newsletter to dive deeper into\u00a0what we\u2019ve achieved, the challenges we\u2019ve faced, and the\u00a0exciting path ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Waste is a global issue that continues to grow with\u00a0urbanization and industrialization. Unmanaged waste, open\u00a0dumpsites, and burning not only harm the environment but\u00a0also pose serious health risks. As Geo Pomona, we aim to\u00a0redefine waste management by transforming what was once\u00a0considered \u201ctrash\u201d into resources that contribute to a cleaner,\u00a0more sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year was filled with hard work, groundbreaking projects,\u00a0and significant milestones. Despite facing delays due to\u00a0global shipping challenges, our team remained resolute,\u00a0pushing through to achieve extraordinary results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the most defining moments for us was hosting\u00a0the SADC Heads of State and Government, an event that\u00a0positioned us as a regional leader in waste management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We also made our presence felt on the global stage at\u00a0the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework\u00a0Convention on Climate Change in Baku, Azerbaijan. These\u00a0platforms helped highlight the critical role waste management\u00a0plays in combating climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I extend my heartfelt thanks to our clients, stakeholders, and\u00a0dedicated team for your unwavering support throughout the\u00a0year. As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited about the\u00a0opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. Together, we can\u00a0make a lasting impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
